The OPYN Keypad can be integrated with the wider AES OPYN range or used as a standalone access control keypad, making it suitable for both new installations and upgrades to existing access control systems.
Multiple Ways to Gain Access
Rather than limiting users to a conventional keypad code, the OPYN Keypad supports several methods of entry:

PIN Code – conventional keypad access using individual PIN credentials.

QR Code – create QR credentials with configurable validity periods and usage limits, ideal for temporary or visitor access.

RFID / NFC – supports MIFARE 13.56MHz credentials for quick contactless access.

BLE Access – wireless access using compatible mobile and OPYN functionality.
This gives installers and property owners greater flexibility when managing permanent users, visitors, contractors or temporary access.
Manage Access Through the OPYN App
When connected to the OPYN platform, access can be managed remotely through the AES OPYN app.
Users can create and update PIN codes, manage permissions and control access from their phone, helping simplify everyday management of the entrance.
For installations where a network connection isn't available or required, the keypad can also be configured to operate locally in Standalone Mode.
