The electro-lock requires an expansion card - MEL interface module - to enable the lock to function and communicate with the gate control board. This is plugged into the 10-pin socket located on the gate control board, and then the electro-lock is connected using 2-wire configuration to the interface card's terminals. The interface card physically transmits 12v charge to the lock which releases its locking pin.

In addition, the electro-lock can be used as a stand-alone lock, simply using the two 'Yale' type keys supplied. Therefore NO MEL interface card required.

Please note: The electro-lock units, both horizontal and vertical, are designed for specific use on Gate Motor's branded gate automation kits ONLY. If you wish to use the electro-lock(s) on another brand of gate automation, Gate Motor's cannot guarantee the electro-lock will behave in the same manner and is installed and operated at the end-users own risk.

 

Compatible with automation kits such as the Kit Diamond, Kit MyAster, Kit MyHook, Kit MyFlow and Kit MyShark.
